Nicole and Don Watson knew before Sam’s birth that his heart condition would present serious problems and need major corrective surgery if he were to live. In Sam’s Heart, Nicole introduces the reader to a world that many of us know very little about.

We journey with her through the family’s triumphs, hopes and dreams. We feel and suffer with them through the pain and the obstacles of baby Sam’s fight to survive.
